I've made it, just you'd need to see other sites to know it

To all those people waiting with bated breath to see whether i made it or stumbled before the line, simple reason for my lack of updates was simply lack of access to internet as the villages over the next few days were very small (was unable to buy recharges for the phone to get sms sent about with updates), or in the instances of larger towns we were on the very outskirts as it would have been way too dangerous to have run through the main city after having already done 60 to 70 K's, even running through them at 6:30 in the morning (which we did) was bit of a logistical nightmare.
I have promised a number of people of will update this blog in the next week or so (or at worst when i return home) so that a full report of my experiences in this epic race is left in cyberspace, i'm only incredibly annoyed that my long day 7 to 10 report was lost when blogger went down, giving me only time for that rather brief and cheap last report.
Anyway sitting here in in warm (34 degree) Bordeaux at present i'm now off to play tourist for a few days before what i admit will be a pretty ordinary run at Medoc Marathon on Sunday (short of a miracle cure for my left ankle it will be a PW regardless of whether i have wine at the drink stops or not).

Comments:
Huuuge congrats Kelvin. Looking forward to some detailed reports on the run ... and on the Stones.

Enjoy the marathon. I reckin if ever you are going to drink wine during a race now is the time while you are carrying an injury :-)
