Even more is happening !!

Having received a postcard from the race director, with a picture of the start "Roscoff" and the finish "Gruissan" i'm now definitely getting to the point of actually realising this is actually going to happen soon (and also the fact that i picked up my tickets today).
Yesterdays 30K was uneventful 2:05:10 possibly a minute or 2 slower than usual, but i think i was out to make sure the new shoes felt comfortable (they did more or less - don't reckon my feet are as flat as they used to be ??) although once out there i couldn't help but race. At least i appear to be over last weeks problem with the blood pressure etc (just how can i have low blood pressure when i think of some of the work related stress before i head off ??).
Put in my entry for next years Western States Endurance Race www.ws100.com certainly not thinking that far ahead (or the logistics of getting there), but i realised that if i wanted a chance of being in it i had better put an entry in before i got back (knowing me it's possible i may come back and swear i'll never fly again - my biggest worry to be honest), so at least that's out the way.
Nce solid 12K into work, but an easy tired 6.5K home just keep on doing that all week and i'll be happy enough in my leadup to the Warrumbungles 5oK.

Hey Kelvin,

Good to see you again on Sunday - even if you did get Jay and I muddled up LOL

Enjoy your time in France - I'm looking forward to reading all about it :-)

Beki (just so you don't get confused with my blogging name lol)

Sounds like an awesome event. I like the course description "A route free of wilderness, free of parched deserts, free of straight lines going to the infinite. Only one marathon and half a day could be seen as a reasonable walk ! 1166km (720 miles) across the scenic French countryside on small roads with low traffic."
Looking forward to hearing all about it.
Dave
